Guido Nosari De Danieli (Bergamo, 1984) lives and works between Bergamo and Milan. He graduated in philosophy of law and painting at the Brera Academy. In his research, he investigates the relationship between textiles, body and memory. Winner of numerous awards, he has participated in international art residencies. Among his most significant exhibitions are the installation at the Museum of Jewish Culture in Berlin, the 10-year prize of the Fondazione Fotografia in Modena and the solo exhibition at the Shang Yuan Museum of Modern Art in Beijing.
In Guido Nosari De Danieli’s research, installation and painting, the body is a container of memories and is investigated as a phenomenon that expands beyond its physical limits, recognising itself in gestures, clothes, self-representation and the gaze of others. Only in these ‘places of expansion’ does the body find its possibility of defining itself around an absent central point.
