StayOnBoard Art Gallery presents High Voltage

Works by Gabriele BasilicoAndrea Chiesi and Günter Pusch

Curated by Nicola Bigliardi

StayOnBoard Art Gallery is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition High Voltage, opening on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 6 pm, during Art Week. The exhibition will run from April 16 to June 21, 2026 at the gallery’s premises in Via C. Gluck 62, Milan.

High Voltage addresses the theme of industrial archaeology through the intersection of three distinct yet converging artistic languages. The black-and-white photography of Gabriele Basilico, Andrea Chiesi’s ink drawings on paper, and Günter Pusch’s drawings and oil paintings on canvas represent autonomous practices united by a shared visual tension.

The exhibition investigates the post-industrial landscape as a stratified space where human agency, machinery, and nature intersect. Warehouses, metal structures, and decommissioned architectures emerge as suspended environments in which productive memory is transformed into aesthetic experience and critical reflection on contemporary time. Rather than merely documenting, the works articulate a rigorous visual inquiry into the economic and cultural shifts that have reshaped urban and peripheral landscapes.
