Wunderkammer – La camera delle meraviglie

In a time when our gaze risks becoming accustomed to the familiar Wunderkammer emerges as an invitation to rediscover wonder. The “cabinet of curiosities” at the Stayonboard Art Gallery presents a selection of works by Tamara Stefanini alongside pieces by the gallery’s artists — Elena Ascari, Sofia Bersanelli, Angelo Bertoglio, Italo Chiodi, Francesco Costantino, Pierluigi Lanzillotta, Elisa Muliere, Guido Nosari De Danieli, Gunter Pusch, Albina Yaloza. Far from the historical idea of exotic collections, Wunderkammer aims to create a space where each artwork, even the smallest, can expand one’s vision, surprise, and inspire a sense of awe. It is a poetic room where art brings an unexpected fragment of the world into everyday life, opening new imaginaries and new possibilities for wonder. The exhibition invites visitors to enter this sensitive space, where the evocative power of images intertwines with the instinct for discovery that has always animated the tradition of the Wunderkammer.
